Women's Gosha Rubchinskiy

Gosha Rubchinskiy is the only Russian designer who is supported by Comme des Garçons. Gosha was born and raised in Moscow. After graduating from school of art he worked as a stylist till 2008 when he introduced his own label for the first time. Inspired by Russian youth culture, skaters and streets Rubchinskiy's collections is a separate world created not only with clothes but also with the help of photos, exhibitions and videos. He hosted 3 shows in Paris but then switched to Russia and showed his collections in Kaliningrad and Saint-Petersburg. In 2016 Rubchinskiy announced a collaboration with Adidas Football line lasting for three seasons in the run up to the 2018 World Cup in Russia, which is sponsored by Adidas. He also worked with Fila, Sergio Tacchini, Kappa and recently Burberry. His FW'18 collection is historical and the last one for the brand. Shortly after the show in Ekaterinburg Russian designer has announced the end of his namesake label 'as you have known it'. His final catwalk was staged in Ekaterinburg and relieved a range of sweaters and tees with Erik Bulatov art and the last episode of adidas Football collaboration.
