The American brand KidSuper won the LVMH prize.
'The main idea of KidSuper is to understand that you are a superhero, that absolutely everything is possible,' says the brand designer and artist Colm Dillane.
From music to video clips, from galleries to short films – there are no definite boundaries in Dillane's work. He juggles mediums and expresses his ideas as he feels fit.
At the beginning of the journey Dillane was selling tee-shirts directly from his dorm room, and now Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, 21 Savage, J Balvin and Bad Bunny are wearing the brand's items.
Kid Super's flagship store is nestled between a dental clinic and a Mexican restaurant on an unremarkable street in north Brooklyn. For many, it's just a random blue building. Some even think it's a kindergarten, but behind these walls there is a constant creative process. Today it's a store, but tomorrow it could be a gallery.
