Thierry Lasry is a French brand of artisan sunglasses. Having a father who was an optician collecting unusual designs for his store in Paris and mother in clothing design, Thierry was destined to be a natural with style and fashion. In 2006 he combined previous experience and established a namesake brand. His design may be put as futuristic vintage, a form of retrofuturism, based on time-honoured ideas Thierry expresses them in new forms. All designs by Thierry Lasry are produced in France using top-notch acetate by Italian manufacturer Mazzucchelli that's been in that business for over 150 years. Acetate production does not harm the environment and high-grade versions glasses are fit adjustable by opticians. Lasry is not fond of a big shiny logo on the frame and never runs huge budget ad campaigns. He already had Rihanna, Nicole Kidman, Kate Moss, Lady Gaga wearing his designs and collaborated with
Enfants Riches Deprimes, tattoo-artist Dr Woo and interior designer Kelly Wearstler.
