Women's Marni
Marni was founded by Gianni and Consuolo Castiglioni in 1990s. Marni clothing was not funky enough and didn’t fit to Italian style of that time leaded by Gucci and Versace, but it gave a certain direction to so called intellectual fashion. As Castiglioni, brand`s creative director, says “Marni`s DNA is more about textures and prints combination, unusual complex cut and not about ideas and looks”. Every year Marni collaborates with famous painters: prints were developed by Gary Hume and Brian Rea. Among brand`s fans are Sofia Coppola, Beyoncé and Jessica Chastain.
