Men's LOUIS GABRIEL NOUCHI
Louis-Gabriel Nouchi founded his brand in Paris in 2017. LGN is a fresh take on classic French tailoring combined with streetwear. The designer calls it a modern vision of new elegance.
After graduating from university and working at Vogue France, he spent a year working for Raf Simons' design team, where he "learned to be radical and express ideas through clothes." Wanting to improve his tailoring skills, Nouchi moved to Italy to work as a tailor. By the end of 2017, when the designer launched his brand, he developed joint capsule collections with French retailers including Galeries Lafayette and La Redoute. Now, just over five years later, he has his own store in Paris.
Most pieces feature fluid textures and neutral tones that highlight traditional tailoring with sportswear and grunge influences. Tops and blazers are accented with subtle distressing and draping. Each collection refers to a writer or a book that inspired the designer.
