Men's Rick Owens Lilies

Lilies is a collection of Rick Owens' signature draped jerseys for women. Owens created his namesake brand in 1993 in the USA but now he is based in Paris. Owens grew up in California and studied at the Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. His aesthetics was formed on the basis of black-and-white Hollywood movies, punk underground of the 80s, grunge and glamour of the 90s. Clothing by Rick Owens has architectural cut: smooth lines, elongated sleeves, draped silhouettes. He's a master of work with leather: Rick Owens shrunken leather jacket is a real must have. Items are often made in a dark solid colors with a touch of vintage. Owens' wife Michele Lamy has been his inspiration and muse ever since the two met. She says that there have been two distinct phases of her life: before she met Owens and after she met Owens. Rick and Michele show their women's and men's collections at Paris Fashion Week. In 2006 they introduced the furniture collection that has since been shown at the Musée d’Art modern in Paris and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. Among fans of the brand are Kate Moss, Madonna, Courtney Love and other celebrities. In 2017 Owens received a CFDA 'Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award'.
