As a child, Yves Coueslant, one of Diptyque’s founders, spent his summers in Do Son, in Ha Long Bay. The same name scent was inspired by a memory of the Haiphong market where tuberoses were wrapped together with jasmine and ylang-ylang in large canna leaves to be used as offerings. The shades of orange blossom intertwined with the sea breeze, finishing off this delicate fragrance.
